Hi Guys, The roadshown for the Canberra CC took place last Saturday at Blk 468a, Admiralty Drive. Here are some pictures of what happened during the shown ;D Many of us arrived early to help packed the spin-fly rigs. The flies are rigged up with mono and a sinker and packed with a leaftlet on how to use it. Even Billy's son was ever eager to help out to pack the flies. Here is all the Boos from CY, Billy and IMX. Uncle Wong's boos in progress can be seen at the bottom left. It was an eyeopener for us to see and cast some of these wonderful cane. My favourite is the one from Wyane of Beaverhead. It so light and fast like a graphite but with all the sweetness of cane Here we have a corner where we showed our adventures to the visitors. Ohhs and ahhhs can be heard as they viewed the video compilied by Q ;D Fred and Yu Hock was on hand to show the visitors that other alternatives such as spinning and baitcasting with lures. The photo album they brought along made a lot of people drool at the sight of the huge catches of their angling career. Later on in the evening, Pak Amin and Yu Hock was there to give demonstrations on casting a fly and lure. The visitor was also encouraged to come up and have a go at the casting under the expert guidance of Pak Amin. This is a great start for us fly fishers to reach out to the community we live in. A big thank you to everyone who came to support and help out. When we can work and move together with unity and a common vision like we did, the biggest benefactor from our effort will be the sport and our passion - Fly fishing in Singapore ;D regards Alberto ps - my apologies for the samll pics. resized them with the wrong resolution

Thanks for the photos and support Al ... too bad the artist of the T shirts couldn't veiw the fashion show models... most with tyres to spare ;D ;D.. thanks hirom for the shirt... now we can chiong and lie flat on grass and blend into the environment ;D ;D Missed casting the Mei Mei and SBs due to taking care of the boo and lack of casting space ( only experts like Pak Amin dare cast )... Not many got to see Pak Amin's fly tying secrets but quite a few objectives were met very well: 1) We created a great impression to the CC shirts, DVD n all 2) It was wonderful meeting and chatting with everyone 3) We got a few names for the next step... 4) Thanks to fellow poisoners Uncle, BT, Qwek n IMX... boo had some exposure n I promise more to come!! ;D Loved sitting back n seeing the great casting with the Calviello Jaguar rod Cheers CY
