Hi folks, It's been a while in filing my CRs, so here one from one of the pub taken on a clouser. A jolly big BMW, opps I meant B&W ;D Most of the pbs are around six inches, the bigger ones are much smarter. Cheers Qwek

Hi Q, I miss these "Or Beh". They are such great fighters on light tackle.

Hi Alberto, This B&W still fight better than any of the PBs of the same size. Great on light tackle too. Here a pb from earlier trip with Matt: These are from south of the border: This sebby from Kiwiland: All these fishes were taken on a clouser pattern. Cheers Qwek

House Pour
Hi folks,
It's been a while since I got a "100 fish day", got a call from myt favourite barber to wet a line.
Wanted to fly to Maori land, but the flight all full so we decided to meet Mr Bush at his resident. Not much of decoding here I guess. hehe. Anyway, right at sunrise Poisonmaster and my favourite hairstylist were there rigging. I got my dusty 1wt rigged up as well. Eddie, the posionmaster, flipped his fly into the water and was welcomed with a solid hookup. So much for flycasting. I flipped next as Jimboz was admiring his handiwork on my head, straightaway i got hit. Eddie and i got about five each before Jimboz got his first, after our 15th or 20th, I passed a Charlie to Jimboz before he kicked us both into Mr Bush's drain.
We were joined by Henry and our good buddy from page 2, the alien one as Jimboz called him. hehe The five of us probably hit over a hundred over PBs maybe 2 that morning. It was a one-cast-one-fish frenzy, I lost counts after the twenty and I probably had 10 casts without a hookup.
Now, that was i called Happy Hour.
I ran out of Charlies due to the obstacles courtesy of NUS research dept, I switched to surface flies. I tied on a Guggler and the poor fly was hit so many time, stationary, wiggling on the surface, on a fast strip, slow even and just plain dropped from the sky. Popper was next, but it was not attractive to the PBs, I only managed a couple before I switched to Hopper, Like the guggler, it too was smashed up pretty bad.
It look like the entire population of PBs in LP were there at Mr Bush's place. I had to sit down on the rock the last half hour, tired of getting up and down to release the fish. After the 2 hours my short and Tee were soaked from the splashing of fish trying to shake off the flies. Can't remember how many time i had to wipe the water off my glasses.
What a House Pour.
Cheers

Cheers Qwek Poisonous Qwek... Your above writeup is surely poisonous and I could feel my arms twitching as if I have my JDM in hands for a roll cast beside you and the rest of the guys... Reliving the beautiful moments when I first fly fish for PBs when almost every single cast I had a fish on at the end of the line with also, a charlie. Tell me the date and time... I want to be there too... urgh... you are poisonous, indeed.... ;D

Hi Matt, Sorry, too busy to take pictures that morning. Anyway most of the fish 10-12 inches, only a few good sizes but none of the "Oh-my-God" like this one I caught with the 1wt just after I returned from Hanoi. Jimboz and Poisonmaster did hauled up a few good sixe pbs and they did took some shots. Will ask them to post them. Ed, time to remove the cob web and blow away the dusts from your flyrods. Will call you this Friday to make arrangement to wet a line together with the Boohemains. hehe Cheers

Happy 7+3 = 10 New Year!Time it was, And what a time it was, It was... A time of innocence, A time of confidences. Long ago...it must be... I have a photograph.Preserve your memories; They're all that's left of you. What a beautiful morning for me to see the sunrise over the horizon as I cast my first for this New Year. Not a perfect 10, but 7 landed and 3 threw the hooks for a comeback. Ahhh, 73 what a morning. Happy New Year fellow flyfishos. Cheers Qwek
