Alamak Ed, now the plot is expose. Thought od keeping the suspense going. hehe Anyway, waiting for some pixs before I continue the story.
Hi Poisonmaster, sorry for not meeting up. This week been very unpredictable, spanner in the work at the office. Know what I mean?
Hi Fisho. Not sure what reel I was using, it belongs to Pak Amin. Most of the popping, jigging, trolling and bottom gears are Amin's, he took them along for us to try. Will ask him the model for you. Infact the rod I was using is converted from a #13wt flyrod. Wow. that mean I caught that GT on a flyrod ;D ;D ;D
Sorry to keep you guys waiting.
Cheers Qwek

Hi Qwek,
So now that you have tried Maldives Saltwater flyfishing......... the only word to describe that kind of feeling...... searching for the fish on the flats and hauling your fly at them, waiting for them to whack it and having them fighting at the end of your line......... is just Self Shiokness. Like they used to say : "Shiok Shiok Sindiri". ;D
As to the model of the Spinning reel, Fisho and Qwek, it's the ever once popular RYOBI Metaroyal 5000 Fishing Safari. A very hardy reel for saltwater usage.
Happy fishing,
Huns.
