Hi mtshark , By the way, what camera did you employ for the picture taking? Did you use a filter for the underwater camera case? Is it a digital camera? I have been thinking in investing for a underwater housing for my Song T3 but the housing cost almost up to 75% of the cost of the camera. Maybe the price has dropped now since my enquiry was last year. There was a Sony T3, a Canon Powershot and 3 Canon Ixus, each in it's own casing. IMHO, a casing may be as important to us C&R fishermen as our rod and reel. U worry less about the camera and more on sighting and catching the fish.
On the flats, we waded in waist-deep water and the camera was the least of our worries, even though it was submerged most of the time. Even back home, I'd still bring my camera in its casing. Imagine fishing in a moderate drizzle and U catch the fish of a lifetime and there U have a camera ready to capture the moment...I would say these footage are super delicious eye candies for those who has never been to "flyfishing heaven". The underwater shots are intriguing. I am very excited especially when you dont take the full portrait of the fish but only parts and pieces of it. It sure makes me drool... drool... drool... The composition was done post-trip, courtesy of Qwek.Hi nutzfactory, You sure make me want to go down the stores now and get a waterproof casing for my Sony T3. Many times when I am in the salt and taking a photo with my T3, I try to do it in the shortest time. After every trip, I would clean the camera as much as I could to reduce or remove remaining salt particles from the camera. Thank you for the information.

I really do not know if I could commit to make it next year or not. Haiz... This coming Sept 05, I will start my career all over again as I am going to ORD from RSAF, happily. With my new job (still finding), I am not sure if I could take time off or not. No worries, I will still prepare for it. Lately, I found some lobang for the marine pack for my Sony T3 at half price from overseas Sony's retailers. The local Sony's outlets are reaping customers with hefty price tags on the accessories but thank goodness, the machines have better price tags than my source. Hopefully, I could put down my name and book that trip too... argh... ;D

Konnichiwa mtshark,
Say, you looking around for the marinepack for your Sony T3.........well, it's retailing here at 24,150yen(about S$385). Sometimes, some of the shops do offer discount........it will cost less than what you would pay in SIN. The Marinepack is much cheaper here but not the latest digital cameras.....don't ask me why..........
If you do need me to hand carry for you just let me know.........will checkout for you for the lowest price.

Very nice of you, your kindness is greatly appreciated. If I do need you to hand carry one over for me, I will definitely inform you first before your return. Currently, my source is offering me at less than S$300 for the marine pack from USA but I must use Western Union Transfer and that will bring the price to about the same as Japan's, maybe S$40 less. But with risk as the seller might 'makan' my money and WU Money Transfer has no buyer's protection. By the way, if you happen to be browsing for camera accessories, could you kindly find out the price for the lens filter for this Sony T3 Marine Pack? The use of this filter is to eliminate the 'blue' from the underwater pictures. Thank you very much. Sorry to trouble you. Just update me when you are coming back. Really hope to meet up with you all as I have not met most of you here. Huns san, Sapporo biiru?

Gomennasai mtshark, I don't drink beer, smoke nor gamble.........a very boring person. Currently only Fly/Fishing and Golfing to pass time.......
The WU Transfer is a high risk you have to take and like I said, some of the shops here do offer discount but the MPK will not go below the S$300 mark. I just bought my MPK for my DSC-W1 for 20,527yen(S$325) during the Spring season sale. Sony SIN is selling at S$466. As for the Orange filter len it's retailing at 13,440yen(S$213) maybe after discount at about 11,424yen(S$181)
