Hie,
I am Michel a fly fisher from France. At the moment I live in Laos for my job. I will be on holidays in Singapore with my wife from 1st to 6th of january 2010. I would like to fly fish in Singapore if possible. Can you help me with information about spots, guides, fly shops ? In France I am a member of two different fly fishing clubs : one for fresh waters in Chambery (Savoie = Alps mountains) and the other one for saltwater fly fishing in Bretagne (Breizh Etel Club Mouche Mer, in Etel , Morbihan ). Thank you in advance for any information. And congratulations for your nice web site. Michel

Have you gotten the date wrongly? Should it be Feb rather than 1 to 6 Jan? Else you will need a time travel machine instead. If possible, make a trip down to Coho along Bali lane. Am sure yu can get the help you need there.

Hie i12fish,
Thank you for the only answer I receive to my post on this site! You are right, I was in Singapore from 1st to 6th of february, not january! Indeed I went to Coho as I had found their mail adress with google. I got a lot of information from them. I went to fish lower pierce reservoir fishing ground, but I did not catch anything! I walked from there to the dam between lower and upper pierce reservoir and i notice there a lot of nice peacock bass. However, as a foreigner, i did not ingfringe the regulation and I only watched! I think that if i have another opportunity to go to Singapore I will rather dedicate time to salt water fly fishing as it seems that there are less restrictions than in fresh waters. A special thank to Henry Lau of Coho for the time he spent to kindly answer all my questions. And thank you again for your answer! Michel73
