Hi there erm i still don't know how to post the picture but its the canal that has water flowing from bukit timah nature reserve and ulu pandan water ? been there today but no sign of crap so was wondering if there was any there.

Hi again,
I have to confess that I've not much fishing experience in Singapore's fresh water spots. I've spent most of the last 7 years over here in Aus and that's where bulk of my fishing is done.
But there's a sure fire way to see if carp are about....
First you have to assure me of the following:
1.) you are not fishing in a body of water where fishing is explicitly prohibited. 2.) This body of water is not impounded in any way. (IE if it's a reservoir you can't use this method)
Get back to me if you think this location satisfies the above and I'll tell you what I usually do to get the golden bones to show themselves and the usual signs that they are in residence.
