Hello Singapore Fly Fishermen!
I am traveling to Singapore with a friend in a few weeks (Fish on February 18th) and we are looking for a boat captain / fishing guide to take us out to local islands and jetties to fly fish for Jacks, GT’s and other game fish depending upon what is hot. Ideally we are looking for a fisherman who loves to go out and fish and meet new international friends and we can pay for your gas and food. Alternatively we can book with a guide as needed.
Do you have any advise for us and for this service in Singapore? I sent an email to the local fly shop today so we will see what they say as well. (Coho)
We are also interested in coming back to fish the next week (around the 21st or 22nd) if fishing is good at this time of year. We are going over to Semarang for a few days and then can go almost anywhere in Indonesia - or come back to Singapore area based on best fishing opportunities at this time of year. Any Advise on fishing Singapore or Indonesia is appreciated.
Can any of you help me with any information at all to assist us in making an informed decision? We have all gear and are experienced salt water and fresh water fly fishermen who practice catch and release.
