Greetings all.
I am traveling to Singapore on business and will have a weekend to do what has become my mid life crisis passion - fly fishing. My instructor, I am new to fly fishing, Kevin Hutchinson from Austin, Texas also recommended fishing in Singapore to me.
Will definitely visit COHO and also read the posts here to find out where to fish. So far from what I have read my 5 wt rod and reel will do fine.
Look forward to meeting any and all. I will be in Singapore around July 13-15th,2007.
Cheers,
AustinFisher Tony Pynes tony.pynes@gmail.com

Thanks for the reply. I notice from reading here and other places on the Internet that freshwater fishing in Singapore is now illegal??? is that true? If so where can we fish? I will look through posts also.

Its legal when you don't get caught! ;D ;D ;D We have a saltwater paypond which is run by a guy called Edward. You can check it out at the Poison at the new Playground thread. Otherwise you can go down to Coho Tackles Fishing at 14 Bali Lane, tel: 62972978, get details for flyfishing accross the Causeway,on freshwater ponds runs by Bob and Melvin.
