Ah Yeow is using the COHO Black Hole #0 wt as a spinning rod.
Very innovative idea because the fish are biting quite far away from the banks.
I got a hook up. The run was powerful, and the weight was heavy at the end of the line.
It is not easy fighting this monster and taking photographs.
But it was fun to try.
Hope FCUK don’t get seasick this time.
Got aerial displace somemore.
Finally I managed to bring it to the banks of the reservoir.
A zebra tilapia.
Can anyone guess the weight?
Close up of the fish with the fly.
A closer look at the orange Charlie.
My attempts to take some self portraits failed miserably.
Managed to request a lady to take some shots for me. This is the test shot by her. Nice scenery hor?
Finally, a photograph to remember the fight I had with this monster.
I agartimate the weight to be about 900 grammes.
But a guy with a lot of tarpoa experiences say more than 1 kg.
He asked me to give him the fish because he wanted to “keep” it in his aquarium.
But I had earlier seen him cutting up a 5 kg toman he had caught with a live catfish.
He was distributing it with the fellow bait fishermen there.
Last week, he refuse to let me take photos of his catch.
mtshark, look at the photopraphs.
Shiok hor?
It is caught with a COHO #0 wt.
I tell hor.
Very very shiok.
