A lampan broke my rod.
Wahahahahahahahaha
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Actually broke the twig that I picked up in the bushes at MacRitchie Reservoir to fish.
I was getting ready my fly rod when a passerby told me he saw some rangers in the park.
I told him I was going to the legal area to fish,
but later changed my mind because I knew my weakness.
I would end up fishing at the Cove.
So I decided to do a copycat of what Uncle Wong had done.
I brought along a fly and a piece of mono.
Without a green bamboo, I found a twig in the bushes.
On the third cast, a lampan hit the fly and took off.
The twig broke and fell into the water.
Luckily the lampan didn’t move after that.
I managed to find a longer twig to retrive the broken twig,
(kekekeke) with the lampan still hooked on it.

This little fellow was jumping all over the place.
Quite difficult to take a picture.
Somehow, I managed to take a few shots and return the lampan back to the water unharmed.
Close up of the fly used still in its mouth.
The acrobatic lampan char bee hoon the mono.
Found a bigger stick to try again.
Little bit bigger only lah.
But by this time, the lampans all disappeared.
Tortoise sun bathing for FCUK.
This eng-kok-ku requested for pictures of tortoise.
Kekekekekekekekeke
Hope I got his request right.
Rubber tree flowers dropping like snow flakes in the strong wind.
I believe it is the cause of why the lampans are grabbing anything that fall into the water.
Which is why my taiko fly with a taiko twig and taiko fisherman can catch a spooky lampan.
