12 Feb 2008 Tuesday
It have been a long waiting trip since last year Feb,these year we
got two newcomer that join our trip.
Left is Richard (Kluang) and right is Keng Hor (Singapore)
We left Kluang at around 10am after a good breakfast at my friend beef noodle stall. We did break along the way for coffee and some snack, but the lunch place will be at Bido for the popular Wan Ton Mee hahaha....makan and makan along the way up.
We reached Cerik at around 7pm plus, bought our ration at THE STORE.Gerik is the town away from the temenggor lake banding where by the boat house located. So we still need to drive for another 30 to 45mins to reach the boat house. That night we decided to stay on the boat house instead of the rest house at Gerik because we can start fishing early the next morning
13 Feb 2008
As early as 6.30am all of us were ready for our first run, here we come Sebarau and Toman!!
Above was the first Sebarau of the day, caught on Rapala Shad Rap 7cm,total for the morning session landed around 4 to 5 pcs.
We head back to the boat house for lunch at 12.30pm,as usual try not to expect to much for the quality of the food. But any way the rating from me,i will give like 6.5/10 still can lah.
Below is some of my Malaysian friends
Second run of the day will be around 3.30pm to 8pm.
Below was a some Toman i landed when sun set,it very exciting because i am only using 6lbs fireline on a size 1000 Ultegra Advance and a 3 to 6lbs spinning rod.
Sebarau join in for the dinner too,hahaha....
Not huge but it pretty fun on light tackle.
The routine was almost the same throughout the 5days,eat,sleep and fish hahaha....so relax....
18 Feb 2008
For the last day we were still able to fish for a few more hours in the morning before the trip end.I was same boat with Keng Hor,he had landed his biggest Sebarau for the trip that morning.
I have also landed one quite decent size too.Hahaha....heng ah!
A memorable photo
Very sad that Keng Hor have pass away last Monday,it was one week after these Temenggor trip (25 Feb 2008).
Here i hope these Temenggor trip will brought Keng Hor all the fun and excitement.
Also may he rest in peace.
Anyone interested to go Temenggor,we can arrange a trip again but need to have at least 8 person.
10 person will be the Maximum because sleeping area are limited.
