I had not been able to find time to fly fish for the last 3 months due to work commitment. When Qwek sent me an message saying that there's a trip to Semakau on the 8th of Dec with our fellow forumers, I told myself that I had to make it back in Country to fish my home waters among outstanding company! We had a jovial start warming up with the ever-ready Key Long Chi and baby Leng Chiam. The morning warmed up a little with the in coming tide with this baby Queenie. The wind picked up towards late morning and sight casting became a little more challenging. So I switched over to baitcasting gear at about noon. On the forth cast, I donated a brand new Megabass to a fair size GT with the help of an oyster covered rock...... I suspect the Semakau GTs had been sufficiently educated to solicit the help of that above mentioned rock whenever they experience any form of dental disconfort. A few more cast later, this vicious fellow came out of his rocky refuge to grab the lure It was an outstanding day for me among outstanding company on beautiful waters. When's the next trip Master Qwek?

TY, Your company has been sorely missed in the past couple of months and glad to have you back to wet a line once again. I've caught enough Kelong Chi to last me a very, very long time Like you said, the group has been fantastic and its what keeps me going with this them. Thanks for organising the trip Q! regards Alberto
