Went for another luring trip in the morning... Caught one good piece of peacock bass... After landing the fish and photo taking, it was released back in the water... Have around 5 misses and one strike...
While walking towards the spot, a pair was spotted near, then without much hesitation, i casted the DUEL Zombi Pop (White colour) towards the pair and pop it... a slow presentation was made because I had learnt how to entice a Peacock Bass to strike on the last trip... Fortunately, just on the first cast, the pair strike it but onli one was being hook on... It dash towards the deep and manage to pull the line out from my reel... (This was a smaller one compared to my recent one, but it fights more violently)... Cool!!! This was a great fight on Light Tackle man!!! Lifting the fish up using Pioneer Lip Grip because I don't want to make my Thumb hurt again by the teeth!!! lol... Refer to attached pics...
Tackles used...
Rod: Lemax Pro Tiny 4'6"
Reel: Symphony Ex Mini
Line:
Backing: Spiderwire Stealth 10lbs
Main: Fireline 8lbs
Leader: Line system (Flourocarbon)
Lure: DUEL Zombi Pop
Picture Of Peacock bass caught at 0658hr
After releasing the fish, I check the treble hook on the popper... Oh Man!, it was bent!!! Just like the recent one... Original Hooks can't be trusted!!! But Isnt it more fun to fight fish using hooks that will bend?? LOL!
See what i mean?? Front Treble was bent!!! Its blur but it still can be seen... Right? LOL...

This was a great fighter... Pulled the most line out... A fish that almost fought for at least 10 mins...
