LE 20050528-30Went deepsea fishing with another group of kakis from May 28 to 30. Boat left shore around noon local time after we had a sumptuous lunch on shore. Reached 1st spot around early evening. The moment the boat is anchored, all lines were down and within minutes fishes were landed. Thereafter, it was non stop actions for all. Japanese Red Snappers Fingermark aka Ang Cho and sweet lips aka Ka Chi Cobia aka Hai Loi Batfish Amber Jack Loads of Amber jacks By nitght fall, tide slowed and bite rate also slowed but still landing fishes. After diner, one of the kakis hooked up something REAL BIG! He fought it for 2 hours by sticking the rod butt in the rod holder that is bolted onto the railing. He was real tired by then. I took over and fought it for 30 minutes. Barely gained a foot of line before it took out 2 ft every now and then. Seeing there is no way to get the monster up, I past the job to others who took turn to tustle with it. After another hour and didn't know how many hands, the 65Lb PowerPro braided line finally gave way after it has been frayed. We didn't even have a glimpse of the monster!! Second day morning, tide picked up speed and the fishes on feeding frenzy again. Those who used 2 hooks were landing 2 fishes at a time, time after time. My palm got blister winding the multiplier while winching up those buggers! . By noon, we had filled up 90% of our ice boxes and the two big boxes onboard. ;D ;D ;D

Hi TarponCraz, I think you have enough fish to fill up my 'retired' drooling buckets! Awesome! The big monster is scary too! *mtshark hides in closet*
