Just started recently pole fishing at the local pond near my house.. Mainly baits used with sweetcorn, pellets and maggots.. The common fishes found in the pond are tench, carps, roach, perch and rudd. Will post up some pictures of those to show how they look like These are called crucian carps. Tench - Hard fighting fishes.. Very unique green body and red eyes Bream - Very slimy Eekk.. Perch - Looks like our local peacockbass huh.. Roach Rudd - Similar to roach but has golden scales and bright red fins.. It's quite interesting to be fishing with a pole rod with it been elasticated. If you guys got the chance to try.. it a must I guess Mathew
