I'm new to fly tying.
Where can I buy inexpensive long shank hook from size 10 to 22, for fly tying ?
Could someone name a few shop in beach road that sell the following brand ?
- Mustad - Gamakatsu - Daiichi - Tiemco
I can only find eyeless hook in size 6, 7 and 12 for tying taman jig.
Once I tie my fly onto the hook, it is very difficult to snell these hook onto the fishing line.
Thank you for your advice.

Appleman,
Welcome to the world of fly fishing and tying!
You can find inexpensive Mustad hooks of various sizes suitable for fly tying at Tan Tong Chong at King Georges Road. If their sales is still on, you can buy 25 pieces package at less than a dollar. These will be excellent for beginners.
Daiichi, Gamakatsu and Tiemco hooks are not cheap and they can be found at Coho at Bali Lane.

Uncle Wong,
Thank you for the recommendation.
I look up the street directory and found King George's Avenue. Are you referring to this road ?
But I am unable to find Tan Tong Chong, so I did a search and come up with the following. Is that correct ?
Blk 7,#01-130, King George's Ave, Singapore 201007
Mon-Fri: 10am - 7pm Sat: 10am - 4.30pm Sun & PH: Closed

Appleman,
Your address is correct. I must have missed the Ave as Rd.
