Some of the flies used for catching tilapias.
Dry fly = caddis, adams, griffith gnat
Nymphs = Prince, Montana, dragonfly nymph

Not forgetting the famous... RED SH*T! Haha... It's actually a very simple bloodworm imitation that i came up with some time back... i use bright red rabbit fur for the tail, dubbed rabbit fur body and ribbed with copper wire. You can add a base of copper wire before tying in the body if u'd like the fly to sink a little more. This fly was used at a canal near my house when there's low water and all the tilapia congregate in the centre of the canal in little deep pools. Fished against the current, you can see the tilapia's bow waves follow it followed by a little tug that indicated a strike! Hope this helps! Regards Nick

Hi, I have bought some files which work for Tilapias and I know a place infested with tilapias. Just near the MRT. interested? just $2 for 2 in a pack.
