Dear all,
I'm looking for a basic vise to tie my flies (what else then!). Tying flies without a vise is too troublesome for me.
Can the sifus recommend a good basic vise to start & live with. So far I've been tying flies on hooks no. 6 (Daiichi).
Cheers.

There are fly tying vises of all types to suit your budget at COHO. Ask Henry or Michael Boey for assistance. They'll be happy to help you.

btw we should'nt bad mouth about others or paticular shop. let the buyer be the judge. this a public open forum. you might end up in legal suite for spreading rumours. you never heard of such cases? ;D

Hello barracuda,
Wondering which particular shop you are refering to, is it the one that was mentioned sometime back in another forum that was exposed trying to pass off imitation flyrods as genuine European stuffs? I remembered that shop was bad mouthed for using kids to sell dodgy tackles to their friends. Can you imagine buying Lorex watches.

Come to think of it, I am just comparing products from different shop, and if I get sued, then alot of Fishing Magazines would be sued from manufacturers whom their products been rated and compared by them!

Hi Jimboz, A little help, however little, goes a long way. It is better that we learn from others than to make the mistake ourselves. This forum is an avenue for all of us to share opinions, product and service comparison, dissemination of information etc. Your quick response to help and share is commendable. The media's flavor of the month is the GST( greeting/ service/thank you), where reporters rate various shops on the above and make a conclusion. They can do it at the national level, and I'm sure they will not be sued. So, continue with your willingness to share. I'm sure all of us will be Grateful.
