The Wulffgang's Fly.Another of my concoctions from the tying bench....... from the Royal Wulff family. The Orange Wulff...... I called it the Flame Wulff. Hook : TMC 101 #8 Thread : Uni Orange 8/0 Tail : Black Deer Hair Body : Peacock Herl & Uni Orange Floss Wing : Orange Calf Tail Hackle : Whiting Farms Black Dry Hackle The Yellow Wulff ......... I called it the Lemon Wulff. Hook : TMC 101 #8 Thread : Uni Cream 8/0 Tail : Black Deer Hair Body : Peacock Herl & Uni Yellow Floss Wing : Yellow Calf Tail Hackle : Whiting Farms Grizzly Dry Hackle The Green Wulff ......... I called it the Green Hornet Wulff. Hook : TMC 101 #8 Thread ; Uni Black 8/0 Tail : Black Deer Hair Body : Peacock Herl & Uni Green Floss Wing : Green Calf Tail Hackle : Whiting Farms Black Dry Hackle This Green Hornet Wulff caught me Peacock Bass just before day break and a Red Saratoga puked it out during the spectacular aerial leaps. Your Wulff gang series of flies is simply awesome...
I like the Flame Wulff especially....it looks ready to explode and fierce....that is one winner i must say..
Are your Wulffs tied in split wing style?

Hi Huns, The light tan hackle used is CDC? regards Alberto Hi Alberto, That's right, the Wing material on the Yellow Sally is CDC and its actually brown in color. You can use White CDC too! Or, Elk hair.(then it will be known as Yellow Sally) Happy tying, Huns.

The Dying Caddis FlyThis is one of the fly I'd used on my Trout fly fishing trips. Hook : TMC 206BL #14 Thread : Uni Camel 8/0 Body : Uni Yarn Highlander and Gold Rib Thread Wing : CDC Brown Thorax : Uni Yarn Brown and Swiss Straw Black This is one very effective fly on the trouts!
