Hi there,
I got an question to ask.. What do u all guys do for rotting bucktail? Any cure for it? Or the only solution is to discard it?

Hi aweiboon, When you say rotting bucktail, I assume that you mean its brittle and falling to pieces. If that is that case, then its into the bin it goes as it has been kept too long.
If you mean the rotting stink that comes from the skin at the back, then there is something you can do. You can leave it out in the sun for a couple of days to air it and then stick a couple of moth ball in the plastic bag when you are storing it.

o.. ok thanks.. yup, i'm refering to the rotting skin, do have a few tat is falling off as well.. Thanks for ur advice..

Anything that begins with the word ROT, should go straight into the bin, no questions asked.
That goes for everything you keep, feathers, wings etc. BIN IT.

Hi aweiboon,
Make sure to use a new ziplock back after the sunbathing and if it still smell bad then it time for the landfill.
It good to take out all your materials and air them once in a while. Dispose of stuff that are starting to smell or grow funny offsprings. repack into new bags or containers, you get to reorganise your materials too for easy tying.
