Can anyone please recommend suitable flies for sailfish and if possible, tying recipe as well?

;D thinking of trying at Ro...n? years ago brother jimboz try a sail with a Heliply 10# and the rod broke.. sadly i wasnt there to witness it so dunno what fly he was using... Bruther Jimboz care to comment? ;D Bruther Jimboz where are you?

i would think a giant sized muddler or giant streamer like an FPF *i hope i got the name right* that mimics your teaser. after all, i presume you will be using the "bait and switch" method. heres an article on FPFs. www.flyfisherman.com/ftb/dbfpf/index.htmlhope all this helps!

Hi neverenuff, I will be going up to K.Rompin next month with a few fliers from Sweden and Finland. They have tied some 6" flies and I will post them up when I get my hands on them. Hopefully we will catch some sailfishs on fly tackles and I will share the report in the forum. Wish us luck. ;D Regards. Edward Ng
