Hope these few lines can help you register and upload your beautiful photographs to PhotoBucket. Step 1: Register and Start a PhotoBucket Account Step 2: Upload the picture to your own PhotoBucket Album Step 3: Link the image to the Forum.

If you look at your PhotoBucket Album page, you should see something like the above. Step 1: Right Click in the Box and "Select All" Step 2: Right Click a second time and "Copy" Step 3: Go to the Forum Edit Window and paste it. After pasting the image link, you should be able to see the link like this. i3.photobucket. com/albums/y64/FlyFishing/photobucketlink2.jpg There should be NO Space in the square brackets, and NO Space between the line. Note: I put some spaces in the above line on purpose so that the text is displayed as it is and not the photo.

Testing Testing. Hi My first attempt in participating in the forum. Just trying out whether can go through or not. I am currently residing in Perth WA. Have been fishing off and on when I was in Singapore. Besides char kueh teow, rojak, tahu goreng(ah I sure missed the tahu goreng at the sultans mosque)...tried the lot. Was into lures, surf, fly, trolling, popping, pole...jack of all trades master of none. Over here I am into lures for breams for the moment. Tried fly fishing at the swan river last year with no result. Maybe kong fu not go enough. Hope to share my experiences here in Perth and Billy as I have indicated you have my support.

Hi Guys...nice to be in contact. I am trying to %#!&*# upload the d**n pic. Having BIG trouble! Billy just send me a mail showing me how to..but..but..still cannot lah! I guess the brain has died with age and with not using it for sometime. Already rusty lah!! Anyway will try again. I have not been fishing as often lately, the wife just got a job(after one whole year!!)...has been very busy.... being a house husband and also running around running my little business. Life here in OZ like anywhere else is tough. The fishing here however can be good. I fish with my church friends every Tues nite(the fishing ministry nite) for makan fish like tailors, herrings, blue mackerals and such. Fishing for these on light tackle (2 to 8lb) can be fun. My kakis has all been converted from mono to braid.(fireline 4 to 6lb). The best bait so far is white bait(ikan bilis) on size 1 gang hooks. On a good nite we can hit our bag limit within one and a half hours....one cast one fish. Which is Tailor 8, Herring 40 per angler. There is a size limit of 30cm for tailor and they are super when cooked "asam pedas" style. Will try to share some pics of breams which I caught using lures. But first must find time to go and also to get them. The pics that I have currently are taken using my mobile...so quality not so good. I have a few hot spots for bream which has so been producing constant results. My best so far has been 20 breams in about 2 hours...all on lures...and 18 yellowtail grunters on lures also in about 2 hours. All were released. The breams here seemed to "like" ang mo lures...I've tried the lures I've brought from Singapore..duels, yozuries, rapalas..all cannot leh. The lures that has produced the goods are Halco 45, Oar Gee, Rebel Crawdad,Micro Min and River2sea. All these are HOT!! Hope to share once I get to know how to upload the #@%& pics and start to fish again... Take care guys.. sure missed the borak sessions we used to have at the sarabat stalls.

After you have registered for the account and logged in, you will see something like this. 1. Click on browse. Another window will open. It will show the folders in your own computer. Go to the folder where you keep you pictures. Select the picture and click submit. 2. Wait for the picture to upload. Once uploaded, you can see the picture in Photobucket. 3. Go to the 3rd box, select and copy the whole line. Paste it on the forum. Click preview and you should see the picture in the preview window. See can or not.

Hi Billy and mtshark. Thank you for your guidance. Actually I did not use the photobucket. What I did was to use the WindowsXP utility(ie my pics are stored under My Documents). Using and going through the publish this file on the web icon...I was given a URL. With that I presume that the pics I wanted to upload is stored on this URL. What I did next was to specify this URL under the profile page of the forum. Actually what I wanted to do is to have a pic just like Billy's instead of the ones selectable eg Bart Simpsons, Batman, Batwoman etc etc. If this is successful the next step is well how to share my Fishing Photos in the forum. I hope that I am not confusing everyone.... What I'll do is to try the photobucket method..keeping my fingers crossed.
Cheers Mates

All those Batman, Bart are already web based. I think you'll find it easier to get it on photobucket.

If you want your picture in the avatar, 1. Go to profile. 2. Find "I have my own pic" and Tick it. 3. Add the url (without tags) to the space given. 4.Save the changes.
There you are.
