Billy you're really funny when frustrated ;D.. I'm not Anyway, the art scene has not improved ... being in the creative field I kinda know... just look at the bad acting on TV.... the durian has also not proven its worth IMHO... Why?because the general public cannot appreciate what such venue can offer.. Well, I think it is all about not allowing the heart come before the brain.. we are conditioned to be too logical and not enough passion... 'meritocracy' finds it hard to put a finger on and the appropriate trust in passion alone ... and civil servants live by meritocracy Thank goodness most of us here live by the magic wand ;D Cheers CY

Yes CY. I am very frustrated. I feel so helpless because we are talking to people with no fishing intelligence.
If we get a reply like, "Sorry, we don't recognise fishing as a sport because fishing don't have the right god-father as patron." I can live with it when they recognise Cybergaming as a SPORT.
The old timer was right you know. After what has transpired, civil servants can only get better. (I hope)

Billy you're really funny when frustrated ;D.. I'm not Because I have a whole collection of "MAD Magazine". I used to love reading "The Lighter Side Of .........." If you guys are not bored and won't feel offended, I can come out with my version of "MAD" in this forum. Related to Fly Fishing and to the Civil servants if you want. wahahahahahahahahahaha For a start, perhaps we should get TY to take a picture of the "CS" when they meet up. Then get Ed to photoshop Nick's "bag of offsprings" on his head and see how it look. wahahahahahahahahahaha

Well, I think it is all about not allowing the heart come before the brain.. we are conditioned to be too logical and not enough passion... 'meritocracy' finds it hard to put a finger on and the appropriate trust in passion alone ... and civil servants live by meritocracy Civil servants who can fill their position based on "Meritocracy" should know that fresh water fishing alone is a multi million dollar industry. It is also a "sport" that not only exercise the fingers like Mr Bean's morning workout. It cuts across the various barriers in society and bring the people to practise the "sport" as one people one nation. It keeps kids off the streets, void decks and shopping centres, where they smoke, take drugs and get into gang fights. Save the garmen so much more money to put them in jail and then have the yellow ribbon campaign to try to intergrate them back into society again. Which is cheaper? I can write down so many more plus points. But I don't want to cough any more blood talking to meritocracy oriented civil servants who can define cybergaming as exerting enough physical efforts to be classified as a sport while fly fishing is only a hobby.
