Hi All,
I need to get distance from fishing above the breakwater, with very steep edge behind. Like those east coast breakwater but with steeper angles behind.
I use the bonefish 8wt SA flyline with TFO and managed to shoot as far as the belly taper off, which is about 40ft so so. I need another 10 to 20ft distance to get into the deeper water where the bigger milkfish are lurking.
Is shooting head a good option to change? I read about the better distance coverage from these lines? Anybody use it in town?
Will the gurus who have experience using shooting head provide some headway. It is going to be milkfish season soon as the water heats up. So I want to get into the distance without spooking them. Rocket of the sea....
