Living dangerously and to get something like that at the end of it, I think it is worth it. If you ask all here, I believe most will agree with you and me as we have also crossed that line to get that dream too. Very nice barramundi and especially on a 4wt! How many lbs tippet did you employed for this type of fishing? And how long did you take to beach this beauty? Very nice fish.

Thanks MTS, I tried the magic code; 'width - 600....' didn't work and end up looking funny. The tags are the same. [ IMG]url.jpg[/IMG] To specify the size, [ IMG width=800 height=600]url.jpg[/IMG] The sign should be the "equal sign", "=" not the "minus or dash sign", not "-". There must be NO spacings in the code and tags. Otherwise the picture won't be shown. Hope the above explanation helps.

The man in blue was annoyed and asked why must I break the law...... sigh.....he problably don't see this specimen on a Tiemco 4wt as my answer, but it was fun.* Hey YH, are u silly? That's a VERY good reason to live dangerously ok! And i bet you know that too =) and of cos, u're never too old, man...

Thanks MTS, I tried the magic code; 'width - 600....' didn't work and end up looking funny. I am no record seeker. Further more, I am not blessed with many opportunities, so I opt for a straight 30lb fc. At the end of the day, it is the fish on pic that count, not the ones that got away just because I am a line class freak. (I wised up) ;D. Oh yes, on a wimpy 4wt it was fun. But the best part was the surface boof. With 30lb tippet I was able to pressure it in with the right angles. It lasted less than 5 min. I wish to say it took backing and fougt for 20min, but this was not the case and I don't believe in tiring a fish unececcesarily. If you fish for barras long enuf, you should know what to expect. I guess the fellas must've been 9lb or more now, swimming happily in some off-limit waters waiting for me to dare him one more time...... sheet...am too old for this anymore.... YH YH Hi YH, I totally agree with you about using such a thick tippet for such occasion. Personally, I would do the same as afterall, we want that fish back in the water in the shortest time possible. Keep the photos coming. ;D
