Hi guys, For all you fan of Jack Charlton's reels, look like he is back in business... His latest offering call Mako by Jack Charlton. From what I have read, this is the real deal, designed and made by him in his old factory and not likely to be an "off shore" production deal. From what I have read in other forums, the prototypes have been tested in real fishing situations for over a year and should be availiable this month in the US. This should put a damper on those outrageous prices on his prevoius models on ebay. The will be three models to begin with and estimated prices start at US$695.00 for a type II anodized 9500 and will increase to just over US$1000.00 for a 9600. Type III anodizing, which is what the originals had, will be an extra charge, probably about US$100.00. regards Alberto
