Hi Albert, I am still in ICU... comtemplating whether is it a good idea to stay longer as the misimisi here very cute... LOL Juz kidding. Hmmm.... I WANT TO GO TO BOTH!!! Aiya... no work now, living on savings... feeling the pressure already... Meanwhile, doing selfstudies about marketing strategies. Hopefully one day I could make enough money to go Market or Jason anytime... heehee... Hopefully, I could settle down with someone like Hun's spouse. Huns fishes, she takes photo... so lovingly... How about Edward fishes... ( ??) take photo... happily ever after? I am not getting younger each day and wrinkles are setting in. It's time for me not to 'ding dong bell' anymore... Hey Huns, got any 'JDM' to introduce? LOL... Err... shhh.... (I hope she doesnt read this...) *hide* Regards. Edward Dear Hun Sin Say, I just got discharged from the ICU. Thank you very much for your prescription. I will follow it to the letter. I'm going home to pack my stuff and camp out at Jason or Market place. They occassionally stock trouts (on ice). Its going to be very difficult to get them on dry or wet flies but then again nothing is impossible if you put you mind to it Ed, which spot you prefer? Jason or Market Place? Let me know regards Alberto ps Huns - your CR and pics is AWESOME! Thanks

As for the introduction of JDMs, only time will tell when a good one comes along. But I must fore warn you first, it's a costly affair!

Hi Ed, As for the introduction of JDMs, only time will tell when a good one comes along. But I must fore warn you first, it's a costly affair! Be happy, Huns What is cost when you could have a soul mate for life? Someone who would sleep and wake up beside you everyday... With love and care and concern... She would be a priceless piece of treasure... I believe you have one. I want to be a happy man... that's all... ;D ;D ;D

Hi Ed,
Don't worry about getting old as we can't control that....... the important thing is to feel "Young at heart" and with a life time partner, it's all about fulfillment.
Say, you want Reiko Kojima's email? I can PM it to you if you want?
Happy fishing,
Huns.

Autumn SeasonWith the warm days and cooling nights, Autumn is here! This is a good time to go fly fishing for trouts........... Every time I browse through those Japanese Fly Fishing Magazines at Shosen or Maruzen, can't help noticing this advertisement of "Forest Springs Fishing Area". The photos in the magazines about Forest Springs had me all fired up and decided to pay a visit come this Autumn. Just two weeks ago, me wife and I drove 200km up to Fukushima Prefecture where one of the first few Forest Springs Fishing Area(1997) were operating. As we drove along the side road leading to the fishing area, past by a few small streams and creeks and we came to the enterence................... Had my car parked in the shades of the Pine trees and with my fly fishing tackle in hand walked along the pathway leading to the Cafe Log House as I scan the 3 big ponds to the left side of me. The office itself is in the Cafe Log House that's where I bought my day fishing pass and took the opportunity to chat with the staff to know what kind of trouts do they have in the 3 big ponds. Gave me a pamphlet with all the trout names on it and told me dry flies would be good for the morning. Wasted no time and made our way to the second pond where only Fly fishing is allowed. The rest of the two ponds were for Fly & Lure Fishing. As the two other ponds had quite afew lures splashing away the middle pond was rather quiet with only five flyfishermen including me! Rigged up my Shimano SCL #3wt, Bauer M.5SL reel with the SA Trout floating line, tied a CDC Dun to the 3 pound vanish tippet and haul my fly forward to the schooling trouts. Within seconds, a Rainbow trout rise to the water surface and took my Dun fly with a splash. I could feel the strength of the Rainbow as it dash towards deeper water stripping the remaining fly line that was lying on the grass. The Rainbow was a real fighter making spectacular leaps as it try to break free but I was ready for that, with each leap, I just bow my rod to prevent it from throwing hook. As the Morning past, the trouts were feeding less on surface flies and I had to strip my dry fly till it submerged just about one feet or so in order to entice the trouts to feed. All the trouts I landed were Rainbows in the morning so I decided to try the SA Stillwater intermediate line in the afternoon after lunch. This was what we ordered for lunch........... Japanese Curry rice for my wife and Hot Dog for me. We came to know that in 1998 of August, this whole area was destroyed by Typhoon. All it took was just one night........ flood-waters gushing down from the mountain range poured through this area, within minutes, the Cafe Log House was demolished and hundred tonnes of trout fishes were washed away from the three big ponds! Thank god there wasn't any lost of life when the flood water hit. It took the management another 9 months to rebuilt and restocked the ponds. Just imagine, within a night, one can loose everything......... so I am content with Rainbow trouts I caught. With my M.5SL Splash Red spool loaded with the SA Stillwater fly line, I had much better hook ups with the Dying Caddis fly. I was searching high and low for Brown, Brook and Yamames but I just couldn't spot them........... wonder where did they all went to! This Rainbow couldn't resist the Orange Softhackle wet fly of mine. A very healthy Rainbow Trout. At this time of the year, the sun sets much earlier and I was waiting for the last rise. By late afternoon, the trouts were feeding on the surface again that was the time I landed many Rainbows cast after cast. But it only last for about forty minutes then its all quiet on the Russian front! As it got a little darker, we decided to call it a day and head back to Saitama........ another 200km drive on the Tohoku Expressway. This Rainbow was caught using the CDC Yellow Sally fly. For sure, I will return again to this beautiful place and try my luck on the Browns, Brooks, Cutthroats and Yamames! Happy Fishing, Huns.

Dear Hun San, I'm the senior nurse writing from SGH's Cardiac ICU. Alberto who suffered a heart attack after seeing your catch pics in this thread earlier has again a massive heart attack after viewing your latest report. We hooked back up to the respirator again to keep him going and he has the same symptoms - staring blankly at the ceiling, drool trickling out from the corner of his mouth, hand twitching uncontrollably and mumbling "Trouts... those bloddy trouts!" over and over like a broken record. The resident cardiologist who is in charge of his treatment diagnosed that if this continues, Alberto will be a permanent basket case for the rest of his life regards Albertini Senior misi Cardiac ICU SGH
