Alberto,
You are most welcome to try out my canes. Next time you just walk up to me whenever and wherever you see me casting a cane, I will be more than happy to let you try. This way the bootitis will sink deep into your bone ;D ;D ;D ;D
Fisho,
No worry, we will meet up at some other water holes.
JiMBoz,
No need to be so drastic to chop off hand lah. Its too bloody and somemore how to cast rod without hand? I have simple solution for you guys ---- just hand me half your salary every months and soon you will have cured all the itches ;D ;D ;D ;D

Uncle Wong, That's only half of the cure, I will take the remaining half of Jimboz's salary and his cure will then be complete. ;D ;D ;D Hi CY, sad that I drove all the way there with my boo and left it in van for a Jap babe. Anyway, Alberto is consoling her at the moment. ;D We should do another prata session soon before the fish become patong. Great to be part of the fellowship! Cheers Qwek

Wahahahaha! You guys have to go South as the conversation progresses dont you ;D ;D... well put a bunch of guys together.... ;D ;D Hi Qwek , Good that the South Bend is 'used' to good effect since I couldn't infect alberto big time on Sunday.... imagine, I even brought the Trout Grass video in my fishing pack just to make sure the disease is transmitted ;D ;D... muahahaaha Fisho, nice seeing you and your 'better' half ;D. It was 'almost' a boo appreciation session ... the better news is that the real topic of this thread: Winston Booboys, has finally arrived in my grubby hands... an amazing 240cm #6wt Beaverhead Rod from Booboy Wayne Maca.. specially built for Barra, tarpon and G.Herring like Marcello's 5wt Jaguar... so the next boo appreciation can certainly be 'salt' or 'SB' ... your pick ;D Will post pics later... Cheers CY

Cheers CY Dear CY, It was never my intentions to take the conversation down south but some innuendos are just to good to pass up You must be as hardcore a boo addict as it gets to use cane in Saltwater. I have only read one guy (can't remember his name) who took one of Marcello's boo to fish for bones. I was thinking that this guys is "nuts". Btw, the Pastor who also craft cane rods, do you know him personally or communicated with him before? The thought that a man of God would built my boo is an appealing one for me... he can bless the rod and ensure that I don't eat "Pak Kor" with it regards Alberto

Dear Al, I understand the innuendos..... hahahaha As for saltwater cane, I'm trying to test all the possibilities of cane to dispell any myths. So far, almost all my new cane rod specs are for salt and freshwater fishing. The person who fished Marcello's boo for bones is his partner Trucco. The rod Marcello made for me is for the same purpose ;D. Harry Boyd is the pastor plus rodmaker I recommended for your requirements. I have only communicated at forums with him. No emails/phone chats. He has been very helpful in encouraging me to the even deeper hole of cane rodmaking ;D ;D. Please contact him directly as he is very approachable and makes good custom rods especially Perfectionist, payne and long 8ft & less than 3wt rods. He also hollow-builds his rods. As for 'anti pak kor blessing'... you already know my bro there is no such thing ;D ;D... getting to fish with cane is already a blessing! ... that said, one has to have a 'connection' with one's rodmaker ( Maker??)... it really makes the rod very special Cheers CY

Dear CY, I'm aware that all blessings comes from God ;D
This fly fishing journey of mine is already tremendously blessed by Him and the friends that I fish with ;D ;D ;D
