CR 20050620 I managed to squeeze out some time today to do some fishing in the evening and actually went to some "What place is this?" spots to do some 'research'. Anyone know where this place is? (No prize for correct answer hor. ) Spotted some peacock basses too. I didnt wet my line for them as I was rushing off to another fish hole for some pinky action and the sun was going to work on the other half of the world soon. Just before the sun set, I managed to hook up one decent pinky with caddis GT. This fly was already in 'hang up' state but it still produces excellent results! The hackle was tailing in the water but the pinky still couldnt resist it... I love pinky... kekeke By the way, just in case anyone wanna ask me again regarding this pinky's hideout, I could tell you that it is not the usual place that I go for pinky. The usual place's pinky always snags me off. Haiz... but now I found a new place for pinky... and finally landed one the previous trip and now a second one. Dry fly fishing is the best!!!

Hi MTS, I have my fair share of 'surveying' our reservoirs. I must say that picture really leaves me scratching my head (LSR?)! Nice picture taken, even nicer pinky! You make me feel like doing something illegal this evening. Evil ....... YH Hi YH, Go go go! Go get some good stuffs and show us! Forum so quiet lately. All browsing and not saying anything... Dont forget to post your catch reports hor. Not LSR... not even close at all. ;D This place is so beautiful...

CR 20050622 I got another pinky but this time, this one looks abit odd... "Never judge a book by its cover." This fellow took lots of line during the battle. This is probably the hardest fighting pinky so far for me. This fat mama Jap took 50ft of line. Alot of pple pass them for fishing but do give it a try when you see those big fat ones. You will be amazed at how fast it could cut through the water and peel some line. I have encountered mama Japs above 5kg mark when I was under 10yrs old. My dad always bring them back for salted fish and so far, back in those days, 2-4kg mama Japs were a common sights! I remembered once, my uncle caught a mama Jap so big that he had go into the water to land it. During the attempt while entering the water, the line burst when the mama decided to dash for freedom! The mama was about 4ft long! Unbelieveable right? This giant was caught on baiting in Tuas before the the golf course was even built. This fish is seen everywhere along the banks. I caught quite a number of them on dry fly. They fought very well too. This one actually went into a mud hole and I had to pull it out of it... what a fish...
