I must say that this place leaves a sweet feeing of pain each time I think about it. Thanks to 67er and Snakeriver for organizing the New Year's eve session. Despite the sore arm, battered knuckles, bruise tummy (from the rod butt), broken fly line (twice), broken leader (60lb !), lost fly (14 just by me), it was a nice way to end the year. We were fortunate to walk into a GT frenzy. 67er, Aaron and I were a little shell shocked just after the first 45min of chaos. Its not very often in local waters where I found an 8wt Winston XTR Boron to be under-gunned....... Lost count of the GT we hooked and released but I am sure we lost just as many if not more. I'll bring 10 wt next time.......

You call that small? I'd had even smaller barra! How I wish to fish your share of fishes come Sat, but 7 trevally the last session had gotten my arm sored, guess I will stick to my share Let's hope those trevally still treat me as 'gentle' as the last time. Anyone keen this sat can have a half rod or full rod session. Cheers! Dear YH, If I did not have a wedding to attend on Sat morning, I would surely take up your kind offer. I can only hope that an early quickie sessions of PBs would help cure some of the itch regards Alberto

Someone from the other pond throw their catch into the pond and I manage to fool it again ;D

Guys, anything you caught on a flyrod is never small.... its pure enjoyment! ;D ;D ;D Hi Jim, I so totally agree with you. ;D It just a whole new dimension and way to seeing and doing thing when you are flyfishing that makes every fish so special and precious. My reference is compared to the other that I have seen but it my first barra on fly and its something I'll treasure for a long long time. regards Alberto
