Hi Folks, God's grace once again allows my journey to continue... Another small Peacock bass taken at LSR on Sat morning. By 7am, the surface was frantic with activity from the small PB playing around. The Peacock bass was taken on a mini charlie. This was the only decent size taken the whole morning. Numerous little ones was also taken on the mini charlie.. Another long week ahead and hope to find time to target other species. Cheers Alberto

Hi fliefeeshoster, My friend brought me there and been there onli once. I really don't remember the address and its not that I don't want to share it with you. I'll try to get the address from my friend as soon as he is back in Singapore. For sure, no lures as I have tried and told not to use it and fly may be difficult as there is little space for a decent backcast. regards Alberto

Hi Folks, After a 3 weeks dry spell, my journey continues once again. Here are some of the highlights A good size Peacock Bass that made my EVO sing and put a nice bend onto my #3 rod. ;D Enjoying every minute of the fight. Plenty of small talipias hitting flies. ;D Would be nice to fish these smaller fishes with a lighter rod. Will be away on a business trip and hope that the journey will continue when I get back. Cheers and tightlines Alberto

Hi alberto, I am glad that your dry spells are over and you are catching fish. The evo sings? I know how it goes... LOL My friend's evo always sings too... d**n... I think I might be getting one myself too. Nice fish! Small or big fish, as long as they hit your flies, they are good fish. I believe you must have enjoy yourself pretty much too. ;D Dont worry about going away. The fish will still be around when you are back. All the best to your business trip and have a safe jorney. See you back in Singapore soon. *grins*

Hi Folks, After my return from a business trip, my journey sputtered to a stand still, blanking out on my previous two trips. Last Saturday, by God's grace and friends who took me along on their trip, my journey got a huge jump start and I once again on my way again ;D ;D ;D Here are some of the highlights This peacock bass gave my new #6 and Nautilus a very nice "opening ceremony" I would have thought that a #6 would be an overkill except a large fish but this green stick is excellent as this medium size PB really put a lovely bend onto the whole rod The fighting ability of the zebra tilapia is amazing as I now know what Billy meant by "rod left and rod right"! I later switch to a lighter #3 and when this PB hit the fly, it took off and made the EVO scream. Music to my ears ;D A closeup of these magnificent fish. cheers and tighlines Alberto

Hi Alberto, Great 'highlights'! I am sure that you have lotsa fun at that 'sacred' water. I am glad that your 'dry spells' are over and by now I am sure that you know where to go to remove those 'dry spells', easily. That 'sacred' place would definitely answer your 'prayers' till your cup overflows. Keep the camera rolling!
